Suriya to do special cameo in Chennai 28 Part 2?

Rumormongers have been speculating since yesterday that Suriya has been roped in to do a special cameo in Venkat Prabhu’s ongoing sports film Chennai 28 Part 2 as a cricket coach. However, a source close to the team has denied it and laughed off the rumors.

Set against a village backdrop, the shooting for the sequel has been progressing at a rapid pace. The team is planning to wrap up the shooting work before mid-July, according to sources. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes music for the project, which has retained most of the cast members from the first installment.
