Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil has successfully sailed past the Rs 100 crores worldwide gross mark in less than two days of theatrical run. Bollywood media pundits have been reporting that the movie directed by Atlee has supplanted the ticket sales and footfalls of Akshay Kumar’s Housefull4 in Mumbai multiplexes.
Bigil is also inching towards the $1 million mark in the USA, making it the third consecutive million dollar grosser for Vijay in a row. Rajinikanth is the only other actor to achieve three back to back million dollar grossers in the USA. With Bigil, Thalapathy Vijay is set to join this elite list with the Superstar!
