Bala ready to face fringe groups

Director Bala is one of the boldest film-makers in Tamil cinema and his choice of subjects and speeches at various occasion are a testament to the same. Anticipating trouble from fringe groups for his next production venture Chandi Veeran for its title, Bala says, “I’m ready to face any protest from anyone who is opposing the title like Kamal Haasan’s Sandiyar.”

Directed by Sargunam, Chandi Veeran features Atharvaa Murali and Anandhi of Kayal fame in the lead roles. It is slated for release in July.
