Baahubali aims 5000 screens for China release in November

SS Rajamouli’s box-office behemoth Baahubali is finally slated to release in China in November. Arka Media Works International, a subsidiary company of Arka Media Works set up by the makers to handle the film’s international release, has sealed a deal with China’s E Stars distribution house, which released Aamir Khan’s PK in the country.

E Stars is aiming for 5000 screeens in China and a special international version has been prepared by the team under the able hands of Hollywood editor Vincent Taballion of The Incredible Hulk and Taken 2 fame. Baahubali is currently the third biggest-grossing Indian film worldwide next to PK and Bajrangi Bhaijaan and is the highest grossing film within India.

With Baahubali’s China release being firmed up, we can expect new benchmarks to be defined at the box office in November.
