Anushka in talks for an important role in Savithri biopic ‘Mahanati’?
The grapevine in K’town is abuzz with reports that Anushka Shetty, who is currently busy promoting the magnum opus Baahubali 2, is in talks to play a brief but important role in Savithri biopic Mahanati. An official confirmation is expected from the team soon.
Prakash Raj is also likely to play a crucial role in the movie, which will be directed by Nag Ashwin as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. While Keerthy Suresh plays the role of legendary Savithri, Samantha will essay the role of a journalist. The movie will go on floors from mid-May.
