Ajith vs Vijay clash on the cards

If sources in the Tollywood media are to be believed, there might be a clash between Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Thala Ajith at the Tollywood box-office later this month. Producer-distributor Tagore Madhu who bought the rights for Vijay – AR Murugadoss’s Kaththi tried to remake the film with Pawan Kalyan in the lead, but it never materialized. Now, the film has completed the censor formalities and is gearing up for release in Telugu.

Trade sources suggest that it likely to release on February 27th or March 6th. Meanwhile, the Telugu version of Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal, Yenthavadu Gaani is also likely to see the light of day on February 27th. If both films release on February 27th, an interesting but inevitable box-office clash is ahead for the two stalwarts of Tamil film industry in the neighbour state.
