Agni Siragugal: Producer T.Siva files a cheating case on Shalini Pandey

Vijay Antony – Arun Vijay starrer Agni Siragugal is a project that has been in the works for more than a year now. The Naveen directorial originally started with Shalini Pandey as the heroine, but she was then replaced by Akshara Haasan.

Producer T. Siva of Amma Creations has now put out a statement saying that he had paid an advance of 15 lakhs to Shalini Pandey for a total of 100 days shoot, but the actress broke the flow after she received a bumper offer from Yash Raj Films. Shalini, who has now been signed for Ranveer Singh’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar, came back to the team of Agni Siragugal saying that she could no more be a part of the project if it was going to be shot in long schedules, as she had to report to the shoot of the Hindi film. After loads of arguments, the team finally let go of the actress and opted for Akshara Haasan, but have still filed a case on her in all the three major industries.

Producer T. Siva does not intend on spoiling Shalini’s career, but wishes to get a proper compensation for the investment that he has extended for the days that he had shot the film with Shalini Pandey. A response is expected from the actress soon.
