Actor Sathyaraj, who plays a pivotal role in SJ Suryah’s musical comedy Isai, says any actor in Indian cinema would long to play his role in the film. He has revealed that his character does not have negative shades but is very unsual and challenging unlike his previous roles in his filmography.
Meanwhile, SJ Suryah has refuted reports that the film is loosely based on the rivalry between Ilaiyaraja and AR Rahman. Isai, starring Savithri and SJ Suryah in the lead, hits screens today.
