Abinesh Elangovan’s great line-up of releases

Distributor-producer-financier Abinesh Elangovan, who owns the banner Abi and Abi Pictures, has a great line-up of upcoming releases including Karthik Subbaraj’s Iraivi, Nalan Kumarasamy’s Kaadhalum Kadanthu Pogum and newcomer Manikandan’s 144. Abinesh has jointly produced all these projects with CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment.

Abinesh, who celebrates his birthday today, is upbeat about prospects of his upcoming films at the box office. “Abi and Abi will foray into Bollywood with the official remake of Kalyana Samayal Saadham and Sandalwood with the official remake of Thegidi. Both the projects are very much in the pipeline and will kickstart soon,” says Abinesh. Abi and Abi Pictures has successfully distributed films like Pizza, Soodhu Kavvum, Thegidi, Enakkul Oruvan, Indru Netru Naalai to name a few.
