The grand audio launch of Jana Nayagan in Malaysia turned out to be a historic and emotionally charged event, with the entire cast and crew sharing heartfelt reflections and anecdotes about working with Thalapathy Vijay. The event also set a new benchmark, entering the Malaysian Book of Records for hosting an audio launch with the largest audience turnout.

The event opened with poster designer Gopi Prasanna, who shared insights into his creative process. “Poster design should be balanced – just like salt in food. Thalapathy often emphasizes maintaining proportion and ignoring negativity,” he said, setting the tone for an evening that celebrated professionalism and artistry.

Lyricist Vivek, a regular collaborator with Vijay, described his unique admiration for the actor: “I’m not elevating him because he himself is the elevation.” Vivek revealed that he had penned five songs for the film, and teased a high-octane track apart from Ore Pera Varalaaru, even singing a few lines on stage to rapturous applause.

Editor Pradeep Ragav delivered an emotional address, reflecting on his 15-year journey in the industry and long-standing dream to work with Vijay. He spoke candidly about missing the chance to collaborate on GOAT, and the immense joy he felt when he was called for Thalapathy69. Pradeep shared how deeply involved he was in the film’s editing, personally presenting visuals to Vijay and cherishing the 20-minute one-on-one interaction they shared on set. He concluded by dedicating a powerful dialogue from the film to Vijay, which also featured in the trailer, eliciting a thunderous response from the audience.

Stunt master Anal Arasu recalled a memorable Vijay dialogue: “I have one bad habit that many don’t – keeping my word.” He emphasized that Vijay’s decisions are guided by integrity, praising him as a man who honors commitments, and extended best wishes for his new journey.

Priyamani described working with Vijay as a personal ambition fulfilled. While she expressed a light-hearted regret of not dancing alongside him, she called acting with him a cherished experience and thanked director H. Vinoth and producer KVN for the opportunity.

Actor Naren reflected on his long-held dream of sharing the screen with Vijay, which began during Chithiram Pesuthadi. He described his role in Jana Nayagan as particularly interesting and praised Vijay as a dream collaborator for choreographers, producers, directors, and fans alike.

Veteran actor Nasser took a deeply personal tone, expressing gratitude for Vijay’s role in helping his son recover from a serious condition and his support during the construction of the Nadigar Sangam. Recalling Vijay’s dialogue from Pokkiri, “Oru Thadava Mudivu Pannita,” Nasser made a heartfelt plea for the actor to reconsider retirement, affirming that Vijay is “critic proof” and deeply needed by fans and the industry alike.

Tollywood actor Sunil expressed astonishment at the massive turnout, saying in his 25-year career, he had never witnessed such energy. Comparing it to audio levels, he joked, “We know only 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound—but this is 1 lakh decibel!” He also encouraged fans to celebrate Pongal with Vijay by watching the film at nearby theatres, even if the actor himself could not join them.

The Jana Nayagan audio launch not only celebrated the music and craft behind the film but also offered a heartfelt tribute to Thalapathy Vijay’s career, showcasing the deep respect, admiration, and love he commands within the industry and among fans worldwide.
