Anbil Avan: Ashok Selvan and Preity Mukhundhan’s film gets its release window

Ashok Selvan’s 23rd film has been officially titled Anbil Avan, with the makers unveiling the first look of the upcoming project. Written by Por Thozhil and Kara fame Vignesh Raja and directed by R Kaarthikeyan, the film is shaping up to be an action-packed romantic entertainer.

The film stars Preity Mukhundhan as the female lead, with further details about the supporting cast expected to be revealed in the coming days. While the makers are yet to disclose the complete plot, Anbil Avan is said to blend action and romance as its key elements.

Interestingly, Ashok Selvan is also involved in the writing process. He has co-written the screenplay with Vignesh Raja and director R Kaarthikeyan, marking an additional creative contribution from the actor to the project.

Govind Vasantha is composing the music for the film, adding further interest to the technical lineup. The project is backed by K. Karunamoorthy, Ashok Selvan and Abinaya Selvam.

With its first look now unveiled, Anbil Avan has entered the final stages of preparation for its theatrical arrival. The film is scheduled to release in September and is expected to be one of the interesting additions to the month’s Tamil cinema lineup.
