Nirvagam Porupalla centres on the rise of a cyber crime network that dupes victims through fake WhatsApp links and deceptive APK files. As countless people fall prey, the film follows a man who delves into the darker layers of digital fraud, unearthing a dangerous world masked behind everyday mobile use. The core narrative questions how these operations thrive, who enables them, and why victims continue to be targeted despite growing awareness.

The film opens by introducing Kaarthieswaran’s character, a scammer who amasses a staggering 5000 crore through layered, modern-day frauds. His arrest by Inspector Sreenithi sets the foundation for the investigation. The first half attempts to establish his methods, motives, and the functioning of his gang. While the ideas are intriguing, the writing frequently slips into exposition-heavy stretches, relying more on information than impact. The tone wavers between seriousness and commercial beats, creating an uneven rhythm.

The latter half shifts towards confrontation and revelation: how the frauds operate, the emotional layers behind Kaarthieswaran’s actions, and the police pursuit. The film tries to balance social commentary with entertainment, but inconsistent pacing and abrupt tonal switches weaken the tension. Some sequences feel overstretched, particularly the action and emotional beats that lack refinement. Still, the message lands effectively, especially towards the end, highlighting how widespread online scams continue despite countless warnings.

Kaarthieswaran, despite directing himself, puts in a sincere performance, though some of his getups and styling feel more distracting than effective. He tries to juggle comedy, action and drama with commitment, even if the transitions aren’t always smooth. Sreenithi, on the other hand, brings far more consistency, delivering a solid presence as the police inspector. Aadhavan, Livingston, Black Pandi, and others offer functional support and stay true to the film’s tone.

Rajesh’s cinematography is colorful and clean. Srikanth Deva’s songs are energetic, though the background score is overpowering. Editing by Sajin keeps things in order despite narrative bumps.

To conclude,Nirvagam Porupalla has an important message and flashes of engagement but suffers from inconsistent execution. With tighter writing, it could have been far sharper.
