Bigil registers 2019’s best Chennai city opening day gross
Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil has registered 2019’s best day-one gross in Chennai city with a fantastic Rs 1.79 crores at the box-office, besting Thala Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai.
Bigil marks Vijay’s second career-best opening in Chennai, just behind Sarkar, which released for 2018 Diwali and amassed Rs 2.37 crores on day one. Rajinikanth’s 2.0 continues to dominate the all-time Chennai city opening with Rs 2.64 crores.
