Arun Vijay to undergo boxing, martial arts training in Vietnam and Malaysia

Arun Vijay, who was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, is prepping up for his next untitled sports drama Boxer, to be directed by Vivek.

Arun Vijay is all set to air-dash to Vietnam and Malaysia to undergo special training in both boxing and martial arts. Stunt choreographer Peter Hein has connected Arun with best experts in the field to get trained.

Markus A Ljungberg, a Swedish cinematographer, will wield the camera for Boxer. The film is produced by V Mathiyalagan of Etcetera Entertainment, who recently took over the complete rights of Nayanthara’s Kolaiyudhir Kaalam. The shooting of this film will go on floors once, Arun Vijay completes wrapping up with ‘Agni Siragugal’, which has Vijay Antony in another lead role, directed by filmmaker Naveen.
