Nithya Menen to star in Jayalalitha biopic The Iron Lady

Nithya Menen has been signed to star in the biopic of late former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha titled The Iron Lady. One more biopic on Jayalalitha’s life was announced by director Vijay and Vibri Media a month back.

The project will be directed by Priyadarshini, a former associate of filmmaker Mysskin, and will be bankrolled by Papertale Pictures. The title logo of the film was unveiled by AR Murugadoss on his official social media page yesterday. Priyadarshini is currently helming a woman-centric with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
