Vijay leads a youth force in Kaththi

How many of you have noticed the headlines ‘Let’s deliver to an inspirational India‘ and ‘Kathiresan’s youth brigade in line of fire‘ in Vijay’s Kaththi first-look motion poster? Kathiresan is one of the two characters played by Vijay in the film. Sources say Vijay is the head of a political youth brigade in the film modelled on the lines of Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party. AR Murugadoss has instilled a lot of subtle references in dialogues to the current happenings in the country.

The film is currently on the brink of completion. The shooting is advancing at a swift pace in Chennai. Directed by AR Murugadoss, it has Samantha pairing with Vijay for the first time. The audio launch is likely to be held in London on September 20th.
