Nalan Kumarasamy’s next titled Kai Neelam; sorta sequel to Soodhu Kavvum

Nalan Kumarasamy, the director of cult classic Soodhu Kavvum, is back. Earlier, his next project was rumored as Eskimo Kadhal. Now, it’s officially announced that his next is titled Kai Neelam, which will serve as a part-sequel to Soodhu Kavvum. In fact, Nalan Kumarasamy is looking forward to complete a trilogy and Kai Neelam is the second part. It will be jointly produced by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment and Abi & Abi Pictures. The project will go on the floors from December 12, 2014 on Rajinikanth’s birthday!

Santhosh Narayanan will compose music and Leo John Paul will take care of editing. Dinesh will crank the camera for the film. Details about the cast and crew are awaited.
