Madhavan’s Irudhi Suttru heads to north India!

Madhavan’s comeback film Irudhi Suttru, after his lackluster last outing with Vettai Lingusamy, is progressing at a swift pace. The makers have completed 60% of the shoot already and are heading to north India after the Diwali break, says a source in the know. Directed Sudha Kongara Prasad of Dhrogi fame and produced by CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment and Sashikanth of YNOT Studios, Irudhi Suttru is a Tamil-Telugu film sports drama centered on boxing.

Starring real-life boxers Ritika Singh and Mumtaz Sorcar as female leads, the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan. Maddy has strengthened his body for a beefed up look for the film. Irudhi Suttru is likely to be wrapped up in November and the film is slated for release in early 2015.
