Disha Patani signed to play titular role in Sangamithra

Bollywood beauty Disha Patani of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story fame has been signed to play the titular role in Sundar C’s historic fantasy drama Sangamithra, produced by Thenandal Studios Ltd.

Sources say Thenandal Films has already finalized Disha Patani for the role and will make an official announcement after the release of Vijay’s Mersal, which marks their 100th production venture. Meanwhile, Sundar C will start the shooting for Kalakalappu 2 from next month and will move on to Sangamithra from December.
