Bala plans a multi-starrer next

Director Bala, who is currently busy with the final post production work of his forthcoming release Thaarai Thappattai, is planning a multi-starrer project next. Last month, Bala reportedly met Vikram to discuss about a possible collaboration.

Sources suggest Bala talked in detail about the multi-starrer idea to Vikram. Arya and Vishal, who earned critical acclaim in Bala’s Naan Kadavul and Avan Ivan, might be roped for in the project if it materializes. The subject, which is reportedly set in the British era, is said to be based on the Denotified Tribes. It must be noted here that this controversial plot has been the dream project (Kuttra Parambarai) of veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja for many years.
