Why is RK Selvamani angry with Thala Ajith’s Viswasam team?

RK Selvamani, president of FEFSI, has lashed out at the makers of Thala Ajith’s Viswasam for shooting the project in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad for erecting a floor set and robbing the opportunities of workers in Tamil Nadu.

“What is the reason to go to Hyderabad for a floor set resembling Tirunelveli or Chennai? There are a lot of studios in the city such as Gokulam, EVP etc. Rajinikanth’s Kaala erected a set resembling Dharavi in Chennai and more than 10,000 workers benefited because of the project for six months. We have offered a lot of concessions for producers in the last few months and we expect to receive mutual help from them,” said RK Selvamani.

Directed by Siva and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Viswasam stars Nayanthara as the lead heroine. D. Imman composes music for the project.
