Vishnuvardhan’s father debuts as actor

Director Vishnuvardhan and actor Kreshna’s father Pattiyal Shekar has donned the greasepaint for an important role in RajaThanthiram directed by AG Amit. Sekhar is known for producting Vishnuvardhan – Arya’s Pattiyal and Kreshna’s Kazhugu. Sources say Sekhar plays the villain in the film. Raja Thanthiram team has been doing innovative, catchy promotions on the internet, with different teasers for each character in the film released by various high-profile personalities including Samantha, Simbu and Vijay.

Sekhar’s character was introduced by his son Kreshna on his official Twitter page. He plays Kanchi Alagappan in the film. Touted to be a heist film, Raja Thanthiram is jointly produced by Sunland Cinemas and White Bucket Productions. It has Veera of Nadunisi Naaigal fame and Regina Cassandra of Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga in lead roles. GV Prakash has composed music for the film.
