Vishal to participate in hunger protest

Vishal will participate in the hunger protest against the mass killing of stray dogs in Kerala on Saturday at Valluvar Kottam. The strike is being organized by the NGO People for Cattle India and pet lovers from the city are expected to take part. “I am participating in the event as a dog lover. I wanted to raise my voice against the cruelty meted out to stray dogs. But since I am also shooting on that day , I will be at the event for a few hours and then go to work,” says Vishal who is very attached to his pet dog August.

“I don’t see him as a dog. August is my son and that’s how I treat him. I have great love for dogs and their well-being,” adds Vishal who is presently busy shooting for his next with director Pandiraj.
