All areas sold out for Dhanush’s VIP
Releasing on July 18th, Dhanush’s Velai Illa Pattadhari is the talk of the tinsel town right now. The deal is already sealed and almost all areas in TN are sold out, ten days before the release. Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures has signed a two-film deal with Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films for VIP and Taana and has acquired the theatrical rights for both. Now, the satellite rights of both films have been purchased by Sun TV for a whopping sum. VIP is also the 20th film of Dhanush which Sun TV buys rights for.
Talk are also on with a popular Hindi channel for dubbing the film in Hindi since Dhanush has a sizeable number of fans up North too. His Ranjhanaa was declared a hit in Bollywood and his upcoming film Shamitabh where he shares screen space with Amitabh Bachchan is eagerly awaited.
