Vikram fires on all cylinders at the box office; TN, ROI & worldwide Box Office numbers for opening 3 days are here

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s Vikram is a total firecracker at the box office. The film which released on June 3rd opened to a fantastic response from the audiences and also won over critics who brought in highly positive reviews.

The film has already inched towards the 70 crore (67.6cr) mark in Tamil Nadu in a span of just 3 days – opening with 23.1 crores on Friday, followed by 20.3 crores on Saturday and 24.2 on Sunday. The film has bettered the collections of the opening day on Sunday, showing the way forward at the TN box office.

Vikram’s TN collections have already made it the all-time number one for a Kamal Haasan film, as it has beaten Dasavatharam which was the star’s best earner so far. Due to this sheer craze for the film all round, the 100 crore mark in Tamil Nadu is possible during the weekdays itself, as there is a big demand for tickets in the evening and night shows all round the state.

Vikram’s all-India domestic gross is already past the 100 crore mark in a span of three days – Kerala has reported its highest ever opening weekend in the post pandemic era with more than 15 crores of collections in the first 3 days. Karnataka has reported with collections of more than 11 crores while the Telugu states have pinned more than 10 crores. With the ROI contributing close to 3 crores, Vikram’s superb collections are a sight to behold.

Vikram has already crossed Beast to become the highest earner of 2022’s Tamil film in the USA, minting $1.7M in 3 days. Whereas in France, Vikram registered phenomenal 13400+ entries in 3 days. The film is also gearing up to become the best lifetime earner in UAE for a Tamil film, which will make it a record that will be very tough to break. Till Sunday, Vikram grossed close to 14cr (Premiere+3 days) in its opening weekend in UAE. In UK, Vikram made a record £399,426 in the first 3 days.

The worldwide gross for the film is said to be close to 160 crores in the first 3 days, and the collections are expected to go anywhere upto 250 crores by the end of the second weekend.

With Vikram, Lokesh Kanagaraj registers hat-trick 100cr+ worldwide grosser post Kaithi and Master.
