Vijay vs Karthi this Diwali

Though still 2 months left for the biggest festival Diwali, the clash between the movies makes the trade hot! Now it is confirmed that this Diwali will have clash between Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay and Karthi. (Thuppakki vs Alex Pandian)

Thuppakki, one of the much awaited movie of the year, initially was slated as September release. But due to the title issue interim between Kalla Thuppakki, the film got delay in its release of other events too. Only the first look poster of Thuppakki was revealed. The teaser was supposed to hit net in the first week of August and it still remains hidden. The title issue case is now pushed to September 17th and hope it will be the final hearing and a judgement arrives.

Whereas Alex Pandian, one of the notable movie in this year was initially slated for October 12th release. The delay for this movie is said to be this flick’s heroine Anushka, because of her busy schedule in Tamil & Telugu movies. Anushka recently joined the Alex Pandian crew and the shoot it currently in its final leg. Also some sources say, Alex Pandian is pushed to Diwali because of Suriya’s Maattrraan hitting screens on the same day as a big solo release.

Whatever, this Diwali is gonna be a real cracker, not alone the outside but also inside the screens between Thuppakki and Alex Pandian. The last clash between these 2 was on Pongal 2011 (Kaavalan vs Siruthai), but both the movies declared as Hit one in the Box office, if mentioned.
