Why Vijay visited Major Mukund Varadarajan’s daughter?

Ilayathalapathy Vijay paid a surprise visit to  late Major Mukund Varadarajan’s house, a soldier of  44th Battalion Rashtriya Rifles who recently lost his life fighting militants on the battlefield in Kashmir. Vijay spent a good amount of time with his little daughter Arsheya. The meeting was arranged by Abdul Ghani, a Chennai-based activist and environmentalist. “We had organized a tribute meeting on Tuesday and everyone was a little sad after the event. We were driving back home when the ‘Tamil Pasanga’ song from the Vijay-starrer Thalaivaa started playing on the radio. Arsheya, who was asleep until then, immediately woke up on hearing the song and even started singing along,” says Ghani to a daily.

Apparently, Arsheya had watched the film Thalaivaa with her father late Major Mukund. Whenever she listens to the Tamil Pasanga song, she seems to be in extreme joy and started dancing for the song. Ghani called up Vijay immediately and latter readily expressed his willingness to visit the kid. Arsheya had super fun with Vijay in a meeting which lasted over 45 minutes in Vadapalani.
