Vijay takes care of the educational needs of a tea vendor’s daughter
Long-known for his philanthropic needs, Vijay has now taken care of the educational needs of a tea vendor’s daughter. Fathima, who scored 1109 marks in her plus two examination wanted to pursue a degree in engineering, but her father could not afford to pay the fees. Vijay, who learnt this from one of his assistants, extended immediate help to Fathima and enrolled her in Meenakshi Engineering College located in KK Nagar.
On the professional front, Vijay, after his blockbuster success with Kaththi, will kickstart his next film with Chimbudevan from November 10th. It has Hansika Motwani, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi Boney Kapoor and Sudeep in lead roles.
