Vijay plays football coach Michael in Thalapathy 63
Vijay plays the role of a football coach in his highly-anticipated upcoming sports drama Thalapathy 63 directed by Atlee. According to a Tamil weekly, Vijay and Kathir of Pariyerum Perumal fame are friends in the film and the story revolves around how the former takes the football team from the latter’s locality to glory.
Produced by AGS Entertainment, Thalapathy 63 stars Lady Superstar Nayanthara as the lead heroine. AR Rahman composes the music for the project, which is slated for Diwali 2019 release.
