Ilaya Thalapathy’s Kaththi in trouble

There will be no dearth of controversies when it comes to biggies. Whenever a high-profile actor’s film is under progress, fringe groups of all aspects strive to take chances to topple the film for publicity. We have seen Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam facing the wrath of a section of the Muslims community demanding a ban on the film. Even last week, Linguswamy fell prey and withdrew his Inam from theatres, which received rave reviews from critics in its opening 3 days. Now, AR Murugadoss and Vijay’s forthcoming Kaththi faces trouble from undisclosed fringe groups.

Kaththi is jointly produced by Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions. It is now alleged that Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions is a close aide of Srilankan President Mahinda Rajapakse. Sources also indicate that they have business tie-ups with the SL President in several countries. It has irked the zealous Tamil organisations and they have already voiced their concerns to the Kaththi team. We hope the issues gets sorted out well before the release.
