Vijay joins Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan to enter the million dollar club in the USA

Mersal is truly on a record-breaking spree across various global territories. With $1 MILLION in the USA alone, the film has become the first project of Vijay to achieve the feat. Earlier, Theri had grossed in $1M in North America, which includes Canada.

With this feat, Vijay has joined Rajinikanth (Endhiran, Lingaa, Kabali) and Kamal Haasan (Vishwaroopam) to have entered the coveted million dollar club in the USA with just Tamil release. If Telugu release is also taken into account, Suriya’s 24 also breached the million dollar mark with major revenue contribution from the Telugu version.
