Vijay becomes the only Tamil hero in the UK with two £400K grossers
With Mersal phenomenal run at the UK box office, Vijay has become the only Tamil hero in the UK with two £400K grossers in the territory. In just six days, Mersal (£403730) has outperformed Theri’s lifetime gross of £403204.
Mersal will next beat Baahubali 2′s lifetime gross of £450K in the UK to emerge as the all-time number second in the UK, only behind Shankar – Rajinikanth’s Enthiran which stands at £611,966.
