Venkatesh reveals Kamal Haasan’s advice for him

It was reported few weeks back that Telugu actor Venkatesh was chosen to play the lead role in Drishyam Telugu remake only after suggested by Kamal Haasan. Venkatesh who has been bravely taking up offbeat roles in Tollywood of late has apparently taken some advice from our Ulaganayagan while meeting him in Goa quite sometime back.

Venkatesh in an interview to a daily says, “I met him a couple of months ago in Goa, and I wanted to have a chat with him about choosing the right kind of subjects at this age. He told me that I should be a little adventurous and really take it up as a challenge and move on. I needed to hear those words from an actor of his caliber. Besides, having been in the industry for nearly 27 years, you know what’s right. You have to respect the intelligence of the audience and do films which suit you.”
