Valimai grosses 100 crore worldwide in just 3 days, a record-breaker for Ajith

Valimai has indeed turned out to be a major head-turner for the Tamil film industry, as the film has broken all the previous existing records for Ajith and has turned out to be his career best grosser. The film has already grossed more than 100 crores worldwide in its opening 3 days, which is the fastest for Ajith and any film that took a non-holiday release.

As compared to the other biggies, Valimai has matched up with Master which did the same in a span of 3 days (with 50% occupancy). Sarkar and Bigil had earned these numbers within the first two days itself. However, those films were all festival releases and the fact that the Ajith starrer has grossed such a big number during such a time is a remarkable feat indeed.
