Vairamuthu not part of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan?
Veteran lyricist Vairamuthu has been one of the long-standing collaborators of auteur Mani Ratnam. Now, several reports from the industry confirm that Vairamuthu has been dropped from Mani Ratnam’s ongoing magnum-opus Ponniyin Selvan.
#MeToo backlash and various accusations on Vairamuthu have apparently made the team to take the decision. Produced by Lyca, Ponniyin Selvan stars Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vikram Prabhu in important roles. The shooting went on floors a few days back in Thailand.
