“Uttama Villain will release on May 1 as planned,” confirms Lingusamy

Lingusamy has confirmed that Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain will release on May 1 as planned. Kalaipuli S Thanu, Tirupur Subramaniam, Abirami Ramanathan were present at the press meet held yesterday and assured that no film will be hindered by fringe groups henceforth against its release.

“We have held three sets of meetings with distributors and exhibitors. Now, we have decided that Vishwaroopam issue should not set any precedent for the release of Uttama Villain. The case on Vishwaroopam will go on and Thirupathi Brothers has agreed to pay the legal charges incurred on distributors. The film will release on May 1st as planned,” said Lingusamy.
