Udhayanidhi Stalin to star in the remake of Jolly LLB
Udhayanidhi Stalin and director Ahmed have put Idhayam Murali on the back burner and have decided to remake the national award-winning Hindi courtroom drama Jolly LLB in Tamil. Udhayanidhi Stalin will reprise the lead role played by Arshad Warsi in Tamil. The real strength of Jolly LLB was the stellar performances of the supporting cast. It would be interesting to see who essays the roles of Boman Irani and Saurabh Shukla, who won national award for the Best Supporting actor.
Hansika Motwani, Prabhu and Anirudh Ravichander were part of the cast and crew for Idhayam Murali. Whether Ahmed will retain them or go for the new cast and crew is anybody’s guess. The shooting for the film will commence on August 20th.
