Two scenes that made Rajinikanth reject Drishyam remake

Interestingly, Jeethu Joseph has revealed that Rajinikanth was also approached to play the lead role in the official Tamil remake of Drishyam. “Rajini sir liked the story very much. He commands a good body language like Mohanlal. He could have given a different dimension to the character. But, there were some sticky moments in the discussion for two important scenes,” says Jeethu.

“First scene is when the lead characters gets brutally beaten up by the police in the second half. And, the second scene is the climax sequence. I was quite apprehensive about whether Rajinikanth fans will accept these two scenes. Rajini sir also felt the same. So, I told him that I will come back with a good story again. I will surely meet him,” adds Jeethu Joseph.
