Sasikumar’s Tourist Family has ruled the roost at the box office, grossing over 40 crores after the second weekend of the film. The film’s best performing day was not day one or two, but day 11, where it grossed over 6 crores at the TN box office.
Not just TN and the rest of India, Tourist Family has also done phenomenal business overseas for a film of its size, as the release of the film was very huge in foreign countries. The film is close to hitting the one million mark overseas, which is a massive boost for the industry, giving hope to more small films which should hit the mark worldwide with larger audiences flocking towards them.
