Thoongaavanam to clash with Thala 56 for Diwali?

According to sources in the industry, Kamal Haasan’s Thoongaavanam which is currently under the post production stage is likely to lock horns with Ajith’s Thala 56 at the box office for the Diwali festival. While AM Rathnam has already confirmed that Thala 56 will be a Diwali release, the makers of Thoongaavanam are tight-lipped about their plans.

Thala 56 is on the verge of completing their shooting with only the final schedule left to be filmed. Directed by Siva,the film has Ajith, Shruti Haasan as leads apart from Lakshmi Menon and Ashwin Kakumanu, who play important roles.
