Third schedule of Vishal’s bilingual Magudam kicks off in Ooty
The third schedule of Vishal’s Magudam begins in Ooty, promising intense action and drama under Ravi Arasu’s direction.

Shooting for Magudam, actor Vishal’s anticipated bilingual with director Ravi Arasu, has entered its third schedule. The cast including Dushara Vijayan and Anjali has moved to Ooty, where filming is running at full speed. Ravi Arasu confirmed the update via a post on X, teasing a grand “celebration” for the fans.
This phase is expected to span about a week, after which Vishal will return to Chennai. Earlier, the film wrapped up its second schedule also in Ooty. Magudam is produced by Super Good Films under RB Choudhary, marking the studio’s 99th production.
The technical crew boasts familiar names: Richard M Nathan behind the camera, GV Prakash handling music, NB Srikanth editing, and Vasuki Bhaskar designing costumes. With veteran actresses and budding talents in the fold, and over 35 films into his career, Vishal is riding high from the success of Madha Gaja Raja, aiming to continue the momentum with this high‑ambition project.
