Thegidi (Dice,Gambling, Fraud & Deception) movie plot revolves around  a detective and the mystery’s happening to his suspects.

Movie starts off with Ashok Selvan’s ‘IN’ to a detective agency and impressive title card with Neeyum Dhinam track sung by Andrea. Ashok will be on a mission to collect complete in & out details of the persons who needs to track down. After he is done with 4 no. of projects, Ashok’s lead allots his next project as collecting details on Janani Iyer. Both Ashok & Janani would have met during his previous case analysis accidentally which impacted a bad impression to Janani on Ashok. Crossing the rule over his job ethics that he shouldn’t near/get closer with the people he is collecting details, Ashok and Janani gets closer unknowing Ashok’s profession.

Ashok gets to know then that his couple of reported cases were resulted to death accidentally. But he doubts whether they are murders by keeping his complete reports given on them. Ashok then tries to contact and save the other 2 whom he had collected details. But he fails to save them which results in seeing their death right in his front of him, ends the first half.

Ashok then realizes that these are planned murders for unknown reason and wants to rescue Janani. Coming to know that Ashok had lied to her, Janani avoids her love for a while. Jaya Prakash (Police Officer) who is investigating the case on the last accident, tracks Ashok Selvan and catches him along with his buddy, whom he lives together. Ashok then co-operates with Jaya Prakash and seeks for the suspects with his brilliance. What happens then? What’s the reason behind these murders? and Who are all behind it?, narrated brilliantly by the debutante P. Ramesh, who is none other than the title winner of ‘Naalaya Iyakkunar Season 2’.

Considering performances, Ashok Selvan top notches and he excelled throughout in expressions. Though he resembles (many said) over Actor Nanda, he is for sure to stay here for a long time! Janani Iyer was seen throughout in the first half and does her job well. Their onscreen presence has worked out highly since being very natural. Supporting artists who were earlier seen in Pizza franchises and Jaya Prakash has done their parts as always to the fullest.

Nivas Prasanna’s songs & bgm plays a vital role and he shines in his maiden venture itself! Would you believe?! Out of 5, 4 songs were featured in the 1 hour of its first half and doesn’t make you take it on other way that they are forcefully inserted. Thanks to the montage based idea and the director had succeeded experimenting it. Dinesh Krishnan’s cinematography were perfectly apt for the movie and Leo John Paul’s cuts were sharp as well. Comedies & Stunts doesn’t create a major impact as planned, and that can be mentioned as a let down.
