Thangalaan to get postponed from its January 2024 release date?
Chiyaan Vikram’s Thangalaan is likely to be pushed from its January 26, 2024 release date due to post production delays and also the idea behind the team to send it to a few festivals round the globe. The film is therefore likely to be pushed to summer 2024 for its theatrical release.
This also means that Suriya’s Kanguva, which was targeting an April 2024 release in theatres will be pushed to the back end of the summer, due to Studio Green not willing to have two of their big releases at the same time. We have to wait for official updates on this.
