The much anticipated title and first look poster of Thalapathy 60, directed by Bharathan, will be launched at 12:01 am on September 5 to begin the auspicious Ganesh Chathurthi day.

There are many title speculations doing the rounds due to the prevailing excitement. This first look launch event is actually trending on top in Twitter continuously. And fans in Madurai have put up a 450 feet long litho poster, featuring Vijay in all his onscreen avatars, ahead of the launch day.

Thalapathy 60 is targeting a Pongal 2017 release.
