Thala 56: Lakshmi Menon to play Ajith’s sister

The makers of Thala 56 have finally roped in Lakshmi Menon to essay the role of Ajith’s sister in the film. “The story revolves around the beautiful relationship between a brother and a sister and that’s the reason the team wanted someone who looks apt for the role as Ajith’s sister,” says a source in the team.

Produced by AM Rathnam and directed by Siva of Veeram fame, Thala 56 has Shruti Haasan as the lead heroine. Anirudh Ravichander has already composed the theme track for the film. The album will have five songs and a theme track.
