TFPC announces complete clampdown on film promotions and post-production work

Furthering to its earlier order of no new releases and movie shootings from March 16th, Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) has now announced a complete clampdown.

“There will be no teaser or trailer or audio launches from March 16th. All outdoor units will stop shooting from March 23rd. No film-related advertisements will also be made from March 16th,” said a statement from TFPC.

It must be noted that Kollywood is the only entity among other southern film industries who are continuing the strike. Tollywood and Sandalwood have agreed to the recent interim offer made by DSPs.
