A testimonial tribute to the legendary Balu Mahendra

A show titled Balu Mahendravin Kanavu Pattarai is organised in the city where the former associates of Balu Mahendra will share their experiences with the legendary cinematographer-turned-director. Kamal Haasan, one of the admirers of Balu had already penned a heartfelt tribute to the ace director in an English daily shortly after his demise. When everyone was paying tribute to the legend, the ensemble which has the duty to preserve his legacy remained mum during his demise.

Now, they are all coming together to put up a great show on the immortal Balu Mahendra and will present their testimonials on stage. His former associates including Bala, Ameer, Ram, Vetrimaaran and Seenu Ramasamy will attend the function and share moving experiences with their Guru. The show is also likely to feature actors like Saritha, Thiyagarajan, Dhanush, Priya Mani, Sasikumar and many others. Balu Mahendra shut his eyes on February 13, 2014 following a heart attack.
