Tamil Nadu theatres plan shutdown from March 2020

The exhibitors association of Tamil Nadu are planning a shutdown of theatres across the state, with a list of things that they want to be satisfied. The demands that have been set up by the exhibitors association is that,
1. There should be a gap of at least 8 weeks between theatrical release and OTT release of movies starring big actors. 
2. The removal of Local Body Entertainment Tax.
3. In case of a loss, actors should work with the producer again to compensate.
The owners and exhibitors will be meeting post the Pongal season to discuss on the same and arrive at a conclusion.
