Suriya wraps up shooting of Soorarai Pottru

The shooting of Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru, which swiftly progressing in Madurai a few weeks back, has been wrapped up. Before the release of Kaappaan, Suriya was actually seen spending a good amount of time with his fans by patiently clicking pictures with everyone on the spot in Madurai while shooting.

As we reported earlier, Soorarai Pottru is targeting a release for Christmas weekend. Directed by Irudhi Suttru filmmaker Sudha Kongara and produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, Soorarai Pottru also features Aparna Balamurali, Mohan Babu and Jackie Shroff in important roles.

GV Prakash has already finished composing the album for the film, which is based on Air Deccan Founder GR Gopinath’s life.
