Simbu to start shooting for Maanaadu from mid-December

Simbu, and producer Suresh Kamatchi are back for the political drama Maanaadu, which was dropped a few months back after the latter released an official statement about the former’s non-committal attitude towards the project.

Now, Simbu has signed an official contract and reportedly given his bulk dates for the film, whose shooting is expected to kickstart from mid-December. Venkat Prabhu will helm the film, which is likely to star Kalyani Priyadarshan as the lead heroine.
